The Dragan Disc
Golf Classic is now in its thirteenth year and 2013 marks the second year
of its return to the classic one-day, noon start format for which the
tournament is famous.
As a PDGA B-tier event, the pro purse will have a
minimum of $500 added, with the possibility of more added depending on
sponsorship. Twenty
spots will be reserved for the Pro Open & Pro Women's divisions through
May 18, 2013. After that, if any of those twenty spots remain, they will opened up
on a
first-come, first-served basis.
Total player capacity for the event
is just
72 players. Past DDGCs have sold out in advance, including
last year's event which filled to capacity over three weeks
before the event. Do not miss your chance to sign up and
play this historic event.
Online and by mail
pre-registration will open on February 1, 2013. Mark that date
and don't miss out on your chance to take part in what has annually
been the biggest PDGA
event in Maine.

Who wants to play
the Yetter?
The 2013 DDGC Pro Open, Pro Women, and Advanced
champions will earn a free spot in the
Eric C Yetter
Champions Cup PDGA Supertour event in Newtown PA in September.
This is a partnership that began at the 2006 Yetter. Ricky Wysocki,
Catrina Allen, and Derek Brazauskas will have the opportunity to play the
2013 DDGC free of charge courtesy of winning the 2012 Yetter Champions Cup.
One Day of Disc
Golf Not Enough?
Is one day of disc golf at
the DDGC not quite enough to satisfy your tournament jones?
Check out the second half of the MaineDiscGolf.com weekend, the Day After Championships, at Enman Field on Sunday,
June 2. In addition to playing a whole new tournament on new
courses, DDGC registrants can opt to participate in an overall prize
pool combining scores from both events (DT9 excluded).
2013 DDGC entry fees are listed on the
players' page. Online and mail-in registration
opens on February 1. Don't miss it.
