What is a Dragon Disc Golf Pilot?

A Dragon Disc Golf Pilot is any player who has played and turned in at least 20 disc golf rounds at any Dragon Disc Golf location.  Once a player achieves Pilot status, he/she is issued a lifetime Pilot Number.  Currently, there are close to 3000 Pilots in the Dragon Disc Golf handicap database, among the tens of thousands of total unique players.

Why should you play and earn a Pilot number and continue to turn in all your scorecards every time you play?

1. Doing so gives you a true handicap for use in some tournaments and leagues on Dragon Disc Golf courses.
2. Doing so makes you eligible for Dragon Disc Golf Pilot Rewards DISCOUNTS!!

Becoming a Dragon Disc Golf Pilot:

Dragon Disc Golf Pilot numbers are earned at a player’s “home” course. One’s “home” course is whichever Dragon Disc Golf course (Dragan Field, Enman Field, Pleasant Hill) the player chooses, and it is recommended that it be the one at which he/she plays most often.  To earn a Pilot number, a player must accumulate at least 20 games in the handicap database at their “home” course...this is total, not just in one season, so if it takes more than one season, that's ok (all rounds that have been entered in the past still count as well).

To get the rounds into the database, players should turn in completed scorecards at their “home” course clubhouse. Scorecards from any DDG course are accepted and will be credited to your total at your “home” course. Therefore players should hang on to their scorecards from DDG courses that are not their “home” course so they may turn them in the next time he/she goes to their “home” course in order to ensure inclusion in their total.

Example: Joe Player determines Dragan Field is his “home” DDG course. If he plays a couple rounds at Enman Field or Pleasant Hill, rather than turn the scorecard in at that course, he should keep the cards and bring them to Dragan Field to turn in the next time he is there.

Once earned, the Pilot number is the player’s for LIFE and is good for use at any Dragon Disc Golf course location.
