Format involved each threesome alternating drives on each hole:  Player 1 would tee off on holes 1, 4, 7, 10, etc, Player 2 would tee off on holes 2, 5, 8, etc, Player 3 would tee on holes 3, 6, 9, etc.  After the drive, all three players would play their next shot from the original drive, then finish the hole playing their own disc the rest of the way.  Through the three-round format, each player had the opportunity to tee off on each hole once.
